Certification Courses in Blue Prism
Having been founded in 2002, Blue Prism recognized early on the challenges facing organizations when it came to the processing of highly transactional activities. They are credited with inventing the phrase “Robotic Process Automation”
All Blue Prism training is delivered via Authorized Training Partners. There are only a handful of these globally, approved to offer both online and onsite training. We are an Authorized Training Partner with Blue Prism.
The Blue Prism Foundation Course is the main entry point to certification for most people. With an authorized training provider students get hands-on use of the Blue Prism platform throughout the course. At The RPA Academy we keep this access open for a month (and you can renew access month-by-month, if required).
At the end of the Foundation Course you are eligible to sit the Blue Prism Certification.
The Foundation Course section is taught using a blend of theory and practical tests and assignments, whereas the Practitioner section is more about applying case studies into real-world scenarios.
The Foundation Section covers these areas:
- An overview of Blue Prism
- Process Studio
- Process Flow
- Business Objects
- Object Studio
- Error Management
- Case Management
- Additional Features
- Consolidation Exercise
- Surface Automation
- Advanced Features
For advanced users there is the Blue Prism Practitioners Course. As with the Foundation Course, the Practitioners Course is very hands-on, with the first section covering additional technical training. The second section is built around a real-world case study. This shows you how you would implement Blue Prism in project environment, with the full documentation and unexpected challenges that a developer would face day to day.
The Practitioner Section covers four areas:
- Requirement gathering
- Process Definition Document
- Walk through
- Functional Requirements Questionnaire
- Solution Design Document
- Operational Impact Document
- Process Design Instruction
- Object Design Instruction
BUILD & TEST
- Object Development
- Process Development
- Unit and Configuration testing
- Test Plan
- Testing Phase I and Phase II
- Testing Phase III
The RPA Academy is the only organization that 100% specializes in Robotic Process Automation training.
While core training is about becoming a developer, the advanced Blue Prism training makes you job-ready first as an RPA Developer and then as an RPA Architect. This is where you get deep training in live environments – online, onsite at our RPA training locations or onsite at your location – covering technical training and real-life case studies.
These “real-life” case studies are in key business sectors e.g. Banking, Insurance, Medical, etc. and business functions e.g. F&A, HR, IT operations etc.
This means that we can offer training to individuals who are looking to advance their careers and organizations looking to add skills to operational or technical teams.
It is also important to provide support to students as they move from the classroom to the real world workplace. Through access to our trainers and our wider Blue Prism community we help with that transition and continue that to provide that support for as long as you need.
We recognize that many students are investing time and money to get their RPA qualifications in Blue Prism. We’ll work to support you on that journey, with direct introductions to companies and networks that are recruiting for full time and project-based RPA roles.
It is our goal to transparently show the quality of our Blue Prism Certification training. Each day we ask students to rate the quality of the course and the trainers, and we will make that publicly available. This keeps us on our toes, and helps any visitor see exactly what we are offering and how we are doing it. Later this year, we will also publish our certification pass rates in real time.
At this level you get to sit for the Blue Prism Certification Test, which is the real entry to a career in Robotic Process Automation.
