1. Blue Prism, UiPath and Automation Anywhere are UNDERvalued.
Caveat Grand Central: I am not a financial advisor.
Nor do I have any inside information.
But here’s why I think the BPUiAA trio are undervalued.
Keeping it very simple…
Assume the average cost of a bot = $10k.
The current combined market valuation of BP, AA and Ui = $9bn.
So let’s assume that valuation is only 1 x annual sales. (And for many companies it is way more – Tesla, is 3.93 x sales today).
At $10k per bot that = 900,000 bots.
What if the average large company uses 1000 bots? Not now, of course, but in the foreseeable near future.
You’d only need 900 companies across the whole globe to each buy 1000 bots And that gets to $9bn annual revenue.
Maybe it is 9000 companies using 100 bots.
Does anyone think that either scenario is NOT going to happen in the next few years?
UiPath says that their reachable audience is every office worker!
BP has a different model, but in the US alone there are 7000 companies with more than 1000 employees.
That is companies, not government bodies – local, state, federal etc., and we can all imagine the opportunities to make them more efficient, at scale.
And, don’t forget, that anyone buying BPUiAA licenses today will be using them for multiple years.
So, is it feasible to have 900,000 bots out there – absolutely.
Is 10X that number more realistic?
Who knows, but looking back, BPUiAA will look like bargains today.
My OOO on my email today is “I’ll be out of the office for the rest of the day as I have an appointment with my stockbroker.”
2. New Office In NYC – building our hub.
Starting to create the RPA hub for New York. With so many great organisations on our doorstep – from financial services through to healthcare, not to mention the RPA companies themselves – it seems kind of obvious.
We’ll be doing the same in other key locations around the globe, making it easier for individuals and organisations to get access to the knowledge they need for the long journey ahead, from RPA to whatever the end is 🙂
3. Upcoming training in Chicago and Toronto.
Toronto continues to be the busiest city in the world for RPA use. It punches way above its weight. Anyone got ideas as to why it was such an early and quick adopter?
And will Chicago ever catch up? We’re trying our best… Chicago dates here.
4. UiPath Training
Now that we have a few minutes to breathe; we are expanding our UiPath training.
That means we need talented trainers – for online and onsite.
